Project Manager at Maastricht University

Within the department of Precision Medicine at Maastricht University, Anke is responsible for the project management of the Horizon 2020 Initial Training Network PREDICT.

Previous:

Following high school she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Human Georgaphy and Spatial Planning at the University of Groningen in 2011. In 2013 she received her Master's degree in Sustainable Regional Health Systems/Public Health, awarded under the Erasmus Mundus program. She then went on to work as a PhD researcher for the BENCH-CAN project at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. She succefully defended her thesis in 2017 at the University of Twente. She then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the field of health service research for 2 year. Her research focused on the benchmarking of oncological care pathways and cancer care networks. Anke has experience as a policy advisor at the Netherlands Cancer Institute – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and previously managed projects for the A.R.T.Z. (Alliantie Regionale Topzorg).
